the april wt is out, get it while you can.
what caught my attention was the first article.
some quotes:.
Thus Moses, God's channel of direction, likely gave the signal to move.
Move over, evidently. The new buzzword is likely. Absolutely no evidence, just some hunch. The pillar was there, but it wouldn't be God using the pillar as a directive; no they have the AUDACITY to suggest some likely scenario whereby Moses gives a signal and from that arrogant ASSUMPTION go on to say that the 'steward class' give clear (ha ha) signals, ergo articles in the Watchtower.
STEWARD class? From http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/steward: one employed in a large household or estate to manage domestic concerns (as the supervision of servants, collection of rents, and keeping of accounts)
THAT imho, is the real business this steward is in - a money making racket!
Yes, absolutely, crazy stuff for sure and getting crazier with each edition.
it is 64 degees fahrenheit here.
the birds are chirping merrily.
i have enough left out of my pay to buy another jar of natural peanut butter.
Think About It:
It is currently 70F where I'm at. Tuesday, I move to take a new job. The low there that day will be -12F.
You sure that isn't -12C? Anywho, -12C sounds worse than it is, unless there's a wind chill...and if that's the low, then not too bad. If that's the high, which it could very well be any day in January or February then you definitely need to have the warm boots, warm mitts, warm coat and a car heater that works!

jw boys can't get by with anything these days.
len.. .
Love it!
in talking with my mom the other day and we started talking about the #of congs.
that are meeting in the hall that i went to.
she goes to a double hall where 10 congregations attend.
Loz, if this is U.K., I heard recently one congregation had TEN persons in attendance at a recent meeting - 10 - used to be 30 and that was a drop from previous attendance, so looks like a deathspiral in some areas.
i have been thinking about getting front load washer for my home, but i have not decided which brand, etc to get.
any recommendations?.
Sorry, didn't read all the previous posts; was thinking this was the title of a new Awake article - practical, at least!
my school was a couple weeks back, and it was interesting to a degree.
to be honest with you, it reminded me of a police crime scene investigation with yellow tape.
what i mean is, in one respect it was business as usual.
Misery Loves Elders thanks so much for that very detailed report...sorry to hear you are suffering with the virus and hopefully now on the mend.
From our vantage point (being out), I truly agree these schools are verging on the bizarre in more ways than one. But what never ceases to amaze me is the 'specialness' with which some of the appointed 'servants' view these clubfests. To hear still-in relatives tell it, these are the timeliest and most privileged schools one can attend in this time of the end, yada yada. I want to scream! but of course, have to nod as they drone on about how detailed the information is and how up-to-date the faithful slave is on their knowledge of how things are really progressing around the world - I kid you not. Apparently, any worldly media reports, including anything on the internet, is out there obscuring the real facts, which only the GB as God's chosen group are privy to. I think a lot of the older elders, even if they have the internet, view it as sort of a necessary evil in order to connect to Head Office to submit field service reports, etc. but would never look at any other sites (nor do they have the time with all the BS Headquarters keeps them busy with). So, whatever they hear at these schools they drink in as if it's mother's milk.
So, I agree with your observation that eventually there has to be a major crack down the middle, between the truly deluded and anybody with half a brain - a civil war, as you describe - can't be long in coming now. The times they are a'changin for sure.
Thanks again for sharing all that info...must have been fairly amusing and painful to listen to all at the same time.
Edited to add - YES WELCOME to all the newbies!
i just finished reading the book entitled "opening the door to jehovah's witnesses" by trevor willis.
it's a 205 page book, and it's very easy to read.
i found it to be an excellent book.
Thanks for the recommendation - I've skimmed the first few chapters and it's really enjoyable so far.
have you ever wanted to own a pig but found the prospect of living with a 250-lb.
(110 kg) hog to be too much of a commitment?
the adorable little porkers start out at less than a pound and grow to weigh somewhere between 40 lb.
Roasted two, whole, this holiday season. Maybe micro-pigs could become the porcine equivalent
of the Cornish hen.
Good God, that picture is disgusting...
